Domestic air tickets and frill-free or low-cost airlines are always Non-refundable
International tickets - for every quote you receive from us the cancellation and refund policy is mentioned in the email which is always accepted by the client before issuance. Each airline has its own policy for cancelling and refund which depends on fare type, class of booking, seasonality and special promotions
Group Tickets - Group of passengers travelling together are part of a group fare and most of them are non-refundable, all rules on cancellation are always intimated before purchasing tickets
Group Package tour - If you’re travelling on package tours, it is totally non-refundable as the cost of the tour is divided between the group members and one person cancelling the trip will not cause any reduction in cost. For example, in group tours a coach of 45 seats is booked for 45 people to travel and if one person decided to cancel we don't get a refund for that one seat on the bus as the cost of bus hire has been divided among all participants. Similarly most rooms are booked on a twin sharing basis so if one decides to leave, the hotel doesn't refund as we are still using the room!
FIT Family inclusive trips - For family trips, hotels booked and cabs booked if cancelled at short notice certainly is non-refundable as the hotel inventory has been blocked for you. There are some changeable hotel booking rates that are higher than non-refundable prices if you have availed of the changeable rates then refunds are possible. You can always confirm these before purchase. Associated flight rates and cab rates will be non-refundable
Visa - Visa fees and processing charges paid are always non-refundable
Missed Flight Connections - or failure to arrive at the airport at the appropriate time will also result in a no-show situation which results in loss of money
Partially unutilised tickets and tours are also non-refundable, accidents or any calamity back home which forces someone to discontinue a tour is very unfortunate but refunds for partially utilised services are non-refundable
Cruises have different conditions/insurance policies - each one has a different refund policy depending on the type of cruise, seasonality and promotions. Please ensure you are aware of all the policies before purchase
Eurail Passes - are all totally non-refundable.
Show / Attraction tickets / Meal coupons - are non-refundable
Trip cancellation insurance for overseas clients - Overseas clients can always avail of trip cancellation insurance issued in their own country
Trip Cancellation Insurance for Indian Clients - Clients based in India are also strongly advised to take an overseas medical insurance prior to departure. The coverage and address of the claims is always at the sole discretion of the insurance company
Death and Repatriation of Remains - Across the Monde Travel is limited to the role of a booking agent. Illness and death while on tour and costs related cannot be borne by Across the Monde, passengers are always advised taking appropriate steps to insure their travel plans
Compensation and Penalties - Visa rejection, our local tour cancellation due to sudden bandh or bad weather or political turmoil or sudden pandemic outbreak Across the Monde cannot be held responsible for any kind of refund as these are not under our control.
Passengers paying by international or national credit card - will have to take a small fee charged by credit card companies that are not refundable or negotiable
